IF YOU ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 18, PLEASE BE SURE TO READ THIS POLICY WITH YOUR PARENTS AND ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT THINGS YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND. IF YOU ARE UNDER 13, PLEASE GET YOUR PARENT’S PERMISSION PRIOR TO USING ANY WEB SITES OPERATED BY LEARNING TODAY, AND BEFORE GIVING OUT YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS OR ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO LEARNING TODAY OR TO ANYONE ELSE ON THE INTERNET.
A Special Message for Parents
Learning Today adheres to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA) in each of our web sites for children and in all our registration processes within our software products released after September 12, 2001 (date of release of first commercially available product). Parents, you can help by spending time online with your children and monitoring your children’s online use. Please help us protect your child’s privacy by instructing them never to provide personal information on this site or any other, or within any software registration process, without your permission.
Subscription Product Data Tracking
We use “Session IDs” to also allow Learning Today to identify a particular user across multiple web page requests. This Session ID is maintained within your cookie file, where possible. If cookies are not enabled, or if the user’s internet browser program does not support cookies then Learning Today will place the Session ID in the requested web page. This allows the end user to avoid having to continually re-enter certain information such as account name and password for every web page request. This Session ID “expires” whenever the user closes their internet browser or “times out” automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity.
